the diamond design layer

The diamond design layer can be used to complement a design. The diamond can either contain an image or act as a mark on an image. 

The examples below highlight how to, and how not to, use the diamond layer. 
CORNER DIAMOND OVERLAY
Usage

Where possible, the diamond design layer should predominantly sit on the bottom left-hand side. The diamond can be used on the right-hand side if it is the only option that looks good within the marketing space available. 

If the background image is dark, the white diamond layer should be used. If the background image is light, the blue diamond layer should be used. 
CENTER DIAMOND
Usage
The diamond layer can also be centered with the bottom point of the diamond in the middle. 

​When using this, the image must sit within the diamond layer as shown opposite. 
SIDE DIAMOND
Usage
The diamond layer can also be positioned coming in from the right-hand side. 

​This application is more suited for the style of a vehicle graphic. The blue diamond, or that with an image contained within, must be used.
